What the statuses mean
In progress means the bridge has your funds and is working. This is the normal state for the first few minutes and is not a problem on its own.
Completed means the destination transaction exists on-chain. If your wallet shows nothing, the token is usually just not added to your token list yet — the receiving transaction link proves the balance is there.
Failed means the transfer did not go through. Bridges normally refund the sending address automatically, so check there before doing anything else.
Why transfers get stuck
The common causes are unglamorous: the destination chain is congested and the bridge is waiting for a cheap moment to submit, the route needs more confirmations on the sending chain than you expected, or the bridge’s own liquidity on the destination side ran dry and it is waiting to be topped up. All three resolve on their own.
The case that does need action is a failed transfer where no refund appears after an hour. That is worth raising with the bridge named in the result above — they are the party holding the funds. Bospora is an interface and never takes custody, so there is nothing we can release on your behalf.
Common questions
How long should a bridge transfer take?
Most routes settle in under five minutes. Transfers that wait on Ethereum finality can take fifteen or more, and a withdrawal through a rollup’s own bridge can take up to seven days by design. A transfer sitting in progress for a few minutes is normal, not a sign of loss.
My funds left my wallet but never arrived. Are they gone?
Almost never. Once the sending transaction confirms, the funds are held by the bridge contract, not destroyed. They either complete to the destination or are refunded to the sending address. The status above tells you which is happening.
Should I send the transaction again?
No. A pending transfer is still moving, and sending a second one bridges your funds twice rather than fixing the first. Wait for the status to resolve.
Why can this tool not find my transaction?
It reads LI.FI’s routing records, so it sees transfers routed through LI.FI and the bridges it aggregates. A transfer made directly on a bridge’s own website will not appear here — use that bridge’s explorer instead.
